How FC 27 Gallery scoring works.

A Gallery set's grade comes from one number: the total score of the cards you place in it. That total is each card's item score plus bonuses from the tags the lineup activates. Here is how the game counts it, what the grades and Gallery Tokens are, and the rules worth knowing before you buy a card for a set.

Updated 29 October 2026

1. A set, its cards and its grade

The Gallery sits in the game under Club › Gallery. Each set names the cards it takes, such as a club's players or a rarity, and how many slots it has. You complete a set by filling its slots with eligible cards; the set's grade is a different thing, decided by the item score of the cards you placed. The grades are D, C, B, A and S. Rewards are cumulative: jump straight to S and you get every lower grade's reward too. If a set grades low, you can come back with better cards and regrade it.

Unlike a Squad Building Challenge, placing cards in a Gallery set does not submit them or take them out of your club. Autocomplete fills a set with your best eligible cards; you can also pick them yourself.

2. Item score

Every card has an item score. It rises with rating and rarity, and a holographic version of a card scores far more than the plain one. In our catalogue on 29 October 2026, the Bournemouth set's base gold Alex Scott scored 280, his Future Stars card 6,150, and the holographic Future Stars Rayan 31,500. A set's score starts as the sum of its cards' item scores, which is why one special card can carry a small club set to grade S on its own.

3. Bonus tags

Each tag has a rule, such as players sharing a nation or playing in midfield, and tiers: the more cards in the lineup that fit the rule, the higher the tier and the bigger the bonus. The bonus is a percentage of the item score of the cards that fit the tag, added to the set's total. Only the ten largest tag bonuses count, so a large set with many weak tags gains less than it looks.

Our scorer applies these rules the way the game does: on the twelve Gallery lineups FUT.GG has published with their scores, it lands on the same total twelve times.

4. Grades and Gallery Tokens

Each set has its own score thresholds for D, C, B, A and S. Lower grades often pay a badge or a kit; the higher grades pay Gallery Tokens, and because rewards are cumulative a set's total tokens is the sum of its grades'. Gallery Tokens are spent in the Gallery Token Store on kits, badges and base Hall of FUT players, and the store's contents change through the season. Grading sets and improving their grades also raises your Gallery level, which moves you through the Gallery objectives.

Every FC 27 Gallery set lists the thresholds, the rewards and what the cheapest lineup to each grade costs today; the cheapest sets this week ranks them by tokens per coin.

5. Rules worth knowing

  1. The same card can count in several sets at once.
  2. A card that has passed through your club still counts after you sell it, so you can grade a set and sell the cards back.
  3. Loan cards don't count.
  4. An Evolution's upgrades don't carry over: the Gallery scores the card's original version.
  5. Grading happens in the game, not in the Web App, which has no Gallery screen.

The rules in sections 1, 4 and 5 are EA's own, from the EA SPORTS FC 27 Gallery Sets guide.

6. What the solver does with all this

The Gallery solver reads which cards of each set you have collected, scores every set with these rules, shows its grade and tokens, and finds the cheapest cards that lift it to the next grade at today's prices, then buys them in one go.
